How do I get a phone number?

You can request a new SMS number from the dashboard. After the number is approved it will be activated and you can start receiving SMS messages.

Requests and your current SMS functionality status is visible in the dashboard.

How much do phone numbers cost?

US, UK and Canadian numbers are included in the plan price (for plans that support SMS). Additional charges apply for numbers from other countries. You can contact us if you need a number from a specific country.

Can I have multiple phone numbers?

Our paid plans that support SMS include 1 number, if you need more numbers you can add them from $1 (depending on the country). You can contact us to request a higher limit.

SMS Retention

SMS messages are automatically deleted after 30 days.

If you feel you require a higher SMS retention period, then contact us regarding your use case and we can look into increasing this for you.

Virtual SMS

Mailisk supports sending SMS messages to your phone number without using your SMS quota. This is done by calling an endpoint that will send an SMS to the given phone number.
